> DocMake (docmake.io) is a document generation platform. Teams design DOCX and PDF templates with fill-in fields, conditional sections, and repeating blocks in a visual Word-like editor, then render finished documents manually in the app, through shareable fill-in form links, or through a REST API with JSON data.

## What it does

- Visual template editor: Word-like editing with fill-in fields, conditional sections ("show if"), and repeating blocks (loops) for line items, steps, or any list. Page headers, footers, custom fonts, and page numbering are part of the template.
- Output formats: native Word (DOCX) files and print-accurate PDF files. Identical layout across both.
- Three ways to render: fill fields in the app, share a form link (no account needed for the person filling it in), or POST JSON to the REST API (POST https://app.docmake.io/api/v1/render, Bearer token auth, rate-limit headers, returns the DOCX/PDF binary).
- AI assistance: draft template content with AI, translate templates into 8 languages (EN, DE, FR, ES, PT, NL, IT, RO) with structure and fields intact, import existing DOCX files as templates.
- Teams: shared workspaces, per-team API keys, custom font uploads, audit log.
- Typical documents: invoices, quotes, contracts, NDAs, HR and offer letters, certificates, reports, ISO-style controlled procedures and quality-management documentation.
